Shooting comets is not the easiest thing to do, especially when the goto tracking on your telescope is less than ideal. it also did not help that there was a little bit of haze in the air, made for a foggy low angle shoot, everything in the sky turned out blue for some odd reason, at least when shooting at under a 10 degree angle to the horizon, which is, of course, where the comet happened to be.
It was also all of about 15 degrees outside which is far below the minimum operating temperature for the telescope mount. Meh…
